Understanding Costs
Hammer Price
This is the final bid price at which an item is sold. It’s the base amount you commit to when you win the auction.
Buyer’s Premium
An additional percentage fee is charged on the hammer price. This fee varies, depending on how you place your bid.

Sales Tax

When you win an item with a hammer price of $1,000 through any platform, the final cost includes a few key factors. First, the hammer price is $1,000. A buyer’s premium—set by the auction platform—is then added to the hammer. Next, sales tax is applied to the total of the hammer price and buyer’s premium. Finally, shipping costs—covering packaging, insurance, and delivery—are added based on the shipping method you choose. These costs, along with the other fees, make up your final total as outlined below.

All shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping Process & Costs
In-house packaging and shipping are available for many items, with shipping quotes based on the size and weight of the package as determined by the carrier or Treasure Trove.
All shipments include insurance and signature confirmation when applicable. Domestic shipments are handled through UPS, while international orders are processed via DHL. Additionally, items will be insured and declared at their full purchase value, including the hammer price plus premium.

International Buyers
